If you know anything about these guitars, they are the finest new "old" guitars on the market! The current wait list on these is 24-30 months and for good reason as you get a very accurate feel and sound without the issues that older guitars often pose! This one happens to be modeled after a late 30's Gibson J-35 and is just a pure joy to look at and play! It's absolutely light as a feather, with a very loud mellow tone! It's a level one distress so it will resemble an 80 plus year old guitar that was well cared for and shows no real signs of wear besides the natural finish checking that comes with those old thin nitrocellulose finishes. We would consider this one to still be in new condition, with no fret wear or other signs of use outside the factory aging.

The slope-shoulder:  A favorite of many a famous songwriter or folksinger, but completely at home in the hands of a bluesman or bluegrasser as well. The slopeshoulder is feather weight and responds to the the fingerpicker's touch as well as the flatpicker's. It can whisper, and it can shout, you feel it moving the air around you. A particularly great guitar for the solo performer, but this one will be a perfect FIT FOR any musical setting you can put it in.
