1953 Martin 00-18 as is

We are currently offering this guitar as is until we can get it to our Luthier for further evaluation/repair. As you know '53 is the year of Mystery tops and the coloring looks other than Sitka. We do know the guitar appears to have been refinished, possibly by Martin themselves, as it sports a pickguard only found on mid 60's Martin guitars and is finished over just like they did in in pre 90's guitars. Nonetheless it's a very professional nitro job and the guitar is a fine sounding example and is in excellent overall shape minus the refin. Call or email for further details.
