Martin only made just a handful of shade top D-35 in the 70's and produced very few shade tops in general up until the past couple decades. This one comes to us as a two owner, crack free guitar, having had a recent neck reset and full refret, ensuring worry free playing for many years to come. There is some play wear here and there but nothing that's not expected from a guitar of this age. This one has a big and clear voice with plenty of tone to prove its 50 years of existence!
