It originally featured a factory plastic bridge that unfortunately arrived at our shop cracked. We took this opportunity to let our master luthier, Allen Williams of Baruke Guitars, work his magic by hand-making a stunning rosewood bridge to match the fretboard. This upgrade not only stabilizes the guitar structurally but also delivers a significant improvement in tone. While it was on the bench, Allen also repaired the underlying spruce bridgeplate using the StewMac method. The body is 100% crack-free and shows only two small cosmetic imperfections on the upper side bout where it previously rubbed against the rivets of the case. The original frets are in great shape, and the guitar needs no further repairs. Includes the original chipboard case.

Youtube video link

1966 Gibson LG1
